Strandbeest

When art, science and technology go together you create something outstanding. This leads me to my discussion of Theo Jansen's, Strandbeest. The Strandbeest is a "creature" created by PVC pipes and Jansen's knowledge of physics and art. The purpose for creating the Strandbeest is to create a new life forms that he one day hopes to release into the beach. The Strandbeest also uses bottles to help provide more motion in the movement. I believe Theo Jansen's, "Strandbeest", is an amazing animal and I recommend to check out his site and the video below.

    Thanks, his website has miniature beast but not as massive as the strandbeest. Those kits are pretty cool nonetheless but are a bit on the pricey side.
