Digital Technology as a Medium

The chapter, "Digital Technology as a medium" happens to be something that I enjoy about digital technology. For example, Jefferey Shaw, I believe, utilizes green screen to produce a magnificent piece of art work. The example appears to be outdated since it appears that the graphics is kind of low budget. Nonetheless, I think people who try to form art using this medium are individuals who help revolutionize the way we view and utilize these technologies. In my opinion, I believe that digital technology installations are such a magnificent piece of work because the viewer can interact and view digital technology as a medium. On the other hand, the artist has the ability to become creative and sophisticated in using digital technology to create, develop and process an important piece of technology. Something that I have wondered throughout chapter two is how would an individual fund such large amount of technology? and how do they learn the skill to actually create the installation?
